Hemophilia A

(Stobbe, 2011)

Hemophilia A is also called Factor VII deficiency, or classic hemophilia. The disease is due to a deficiency in a protein (Factor VII) which allow the blood to clot. Because of this, people with hemophilia may have prolonged bleeding or internal bleeding. A small scrape can be extremely detrimental.
